Who can attend Dental Xcel courses?

Dental Xcel courses are designed for licensed dentists and dental professionals in Ontario who are seeking to fulfill continuing education (CE) requirements, improve clinical skills, and enhance their practice.

Where are the Dental XCel courses held?

Courses will be held at Studio 6 Inc.’s new Oakville office located at 1075 North Service Road, Oakville, ON.

Can these courses help meet Ontario CE requirements?

Yes. Dentists in Ontario must complete a set number of CE credits within a cycle as required by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). Dental Xcel’s accredited clinical programs contribute toward these requirements.

  • Mini Course – 2 CE Credits
  • Full Course – 28 CE Credits
How many credits will I receive for a mini course?

When you participate in one of Dental XCel’s mini courses, you will receive two credits that will contribute toward the RCDSO’s requirements.

All dentists with a general or specialty certificate of registration must earn at least 90 Continuing Education (CE) points every three years. Courses are categorized into three groups, aimed at maintaining professional standards and promoting ongoing competence. Courses offered by Dental XCel fall into categories two and three.
